Goodbye Gold, Hello Copper

02.15.17

Last week I was in Target. Every time I'm there I like to stop by the home furniture section to see kind of displays they have up. Target always know what's up. When I saw they had a right shelf dedicated to Gold accent decor pieces and the left shelf had Copper, it became clear that gold is no longer relevant to me.  Gold had it's moment for the last 2 years and this year it's time for copper to go all out in full force.  I had my gold moment and if you're still enjoying your, there is nothing wrong with it! It's all a matter of opinion and style. My style is transforming constantly and I'm going through my copper phase. Copper has a very distinct and mystery to it. It stands out without taking away attention from everything else in the room.  It looks effortless and less gaudy when you have more than 1 statement pieces in one room. It's shiny, cold but also warms up a room. This coffee table set the the perfect androgynous statement piece for a couple living together. Sick Day Tea + Soup Recipes

02.05.17

It's flu season and everyone is getting sick! I just recently recovered from 3 weeks of torture in bed, then the hospital, and then in bed again.  It was definitely not fun but I'm glad I'm feeling better and more like my happy self again. I made a video of my sick day routine (HERE) to help you just feel more relaxed if you're going through the same thing. Below I'm also going to list my favorite tea and soup recipe.   Citrus Ginger Tea Recipe Lemon is loaded with vitamin C/B6/A/E, and has detoxifying elements and many other nourishing elements. Ginger aids with many stomach problems like indigestion and nausea. Honey is a great natural sweetener with anti-inflamatory and anti-bacterial properties and is also soothing for sore throats. I like to make myself a jar of this amazing concoction. By doing so, you can easily make yourself a few cups of this relaxing tea. For 3-6 servings: Start by pouring 4 tablespoons of honey into a jar. Chop up a half or whole (depending what you like) of a lemon into bit size pieces. Then chop up about a thumb size piece of ginger into slices.  Add the lemon and ginger into the..... Read More

In celebration and to compliment the launch I wanted to share with you this False Lash 101 Guide. It's everything you need to know. These are all the tips and tricks I picked up along the years of wearing false lashes. I absolutely love wearing them for special occasions, photos, videos or just to get an extra pop to my look. Eylure x AnnLe | Eylure Vlogger Series

Three years ago is when I got into wearing lashes.  After realizing how amazing they look in my youtube videos, I was hooked ever since. Whenever I don't have the right pair of lashes on to an event or on video, I feel so incomplete. It feels like wearing an ugly pair of shoes with a cute outfit. Once you find that perfect pair (False Lashes 101 coming soon!) you'll never want to go lash-less again! I used to wonder why can't my eye makeup pop like the actors on the red carpet? Now I realized you can easily instantly look sultry, dolled up, or glamorous just with the right pair of false lashes.   Remember that time I went to Paris/London and got detained at the UK border? Well, there was some good happening at the same time and it definitely outweighed the nightmare experience with the grumpy officer I've encountered. I was there for a photo shoot in collaboration with Eylure! The shoot was for our lash boxes. It was definitely an exciting project! In the last year, I've been working on this secret project and the time has come where I can share the exciting news with the world!..... Read More

5 FALL Fashion & Beauty Trends

10.14.16

One of my favorite parts of the year is PFW and NYFW. There's so much inspiration to pull from! Whether it's new streetwear trends or eclectic designs on the runway, I can't help but fall in love with beauty and fashion all over again. So now with the runways coming to a close, I thought I'd share with you five fall trends from this season.   BLUSH RE-AWAKENING While the dewy, wet look has definitely made it's mark the past year, blush has replaced the ever-so-popular highlighting powder, mostly due to it's ability to give you that "awake" look in just under twenty seconds. By applying blush to the apples of your cheeks, sweeping upwards into your temples and just lightly on the tip of your chin, you can confidently head into work Monday morning even after that rager-of-a-weekend you had (aka indulging on vegan sweets and ice cream while watching Netflix). Photo Source:  StyleCaster OVERSIZED SUITS I have always had a love relationship for the androgynous look.  The added size and extra drapes on a suit exude a modern yet sophisticated feminine silhouette.  This style was prominent both off and on the runway, making heads turn towards both models and celebrities alike......
