Good morning, lovelies!
You know how much I like my Starbucks coffee, but now I want to show you how to make a delicious post-workout snack that can go hand-in-hand with your drink. These days, I try extremely hard to find different alternatives to my favorite snacks so for this homemade brownie, I decided to switch up some of the usual ingredients. Not only is it delicious, it also provides a great source of protein.
If you exercise on a daily basis or if you want to feel energized all day, the added pea protein will definitely help. Instead of using an oven and having to wait to preheat the brownie, I will show you a nice hack by simply baking the brownie in a mug! 2 tbsp flour – I used coconut flour for this recipe. It smells amazing!
2 tbsp sweetener – You can replace this with pea protein, which is high in protein and has beneficial amino acids
1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder – Gives it a more chocolatey taste
1 tsp of vanilla
pinch of baking soda
2-3 tbsp yogurt
Add all of the ingredients into a cup.
Mix everything together.
If the mixture looks dry, add in milk or yogurt. You should end up with a nice and smooth texture.
Heat it up in the microwave for 1 and a half minutes. Let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes.
You should then have your very own homemade brownie that tastes so well with a nice cup of coffee.
This is such an easy no cleanup dessert. If you tried it for yourself, let me know how you like it!
