A Little Bit of London

BOOHOO LA 001

This past weekend I had the privilege of flying out to London to visit the Boohoo.com showroom and enjoy the British ambiance.  I remembered that 3 years ago, I discovered Boohoo’s site and wished they can ship to the states.  For them to reach out to me for this project and help launch their US store was a dream come true….

Boohoo gathered a few bloggers including myself and asked if we wanted to do a photoshoot while at the showroom.  Play dress up with nice clothing and leave my wallet intact?  Yes please!  The girls and I gladly selected a few sample pieces that wowed us.  I originally arrived to the showroom with a denim on denim ensemble – Boohoo denim skirt and my chambray button down shown in the photos.  I quickly switched into this metallic skirt that screamed out to me.  The shoes were also from the showroom.  The metallic skirt and shoes definitely added a spunk to what I was originally wearing.

The photoshoot was such a blast and we all had a nice flow in energy. Cait, Jenny, Nadia, and myself all had a wonderful time trying on Boohoo’s latest designs and bonded over styling what we had to work with.  Originally we ordered clothing from Boohoo.com but the shipment did not arrive in time so we played with the showroom pieces. It was a very chill and relaxed shoot.   Carnaby Street was our shooting location, it is also a shopping hotspot for shopaholics like myself.  A total shopping destination filled with major brands and eclectic independent style houses.  As a blogger and youtuber, the location was on point!  British people were respectful and so pleasant.  Nothing like the US, where people would stop and stare uncomfortably.  If you have taken photo’s or video in public, you know what I mean =)  There was so much to do and so much to see but by the time we were done, the jet lag kicked in like a biAtch!  Overall, we all felt somewhat drunk from good exhaustion and happiness.  More on London coming soon! Until next time… Pip pip Cheerio!!!

Love,

Ann
