The Blazer Challenge – Guest Bloggers

“Style is knowing who you are, what you want to say, and not giving a damn.” –Gore Vidal
In showing some appreciation to my lovely viewers, I asked if anyone was interested in guest blogging. A few lovely ladies participated and a couple were able to submit in their entries. I didn’t want to pick one girl because each one have their own personal style. I believe there is NO right or wrong way in dressing. Style is all about originality.
I asked these lovely girls how they define style and to flaunt it in their photos. The challenge was to showcase their personal style through dressing around a blazer jacket. I think they all look stunning and hawt. Please give these ladies some love.

“My style is classic, feminine, and chic with a pop of color! My fashion sense always tend towards classic shapes and lines, but I love having fun with different combinations of color to really make an outfit interesting. My favorite blazer is a boyfriend cut blazer that I found a few months ago at Urban Outfitters. I love the structured yet casual look of a boyfriend blazer and the fact that it can make any outfit look instantly put together.

As a petite though (I’m only 5′ tall!), I’m always concerned about whether I will look like I’m drowning in fabric, especially in the cut of an oversized boyfriend blazer. My trick? Belt it. Just like an oversized shirt looks better belted, so does an oversized blazer! Nothing helps to make something look more fitted than to show off a little waistline. Blazers are definitely one of my go-to wardrobe staples and something that everyone should invest in for their wardrobe!”

“Black blazer : I’m wearing a loose fitting pants with a black bow in the middle.  I chose a navy blue cropped top to show a little skin on my belly (another big trend this year is to show a little big skin:P). The navy blue top is kind of dark, that’s why i wore a gold necklace to bring it out. And the black blazer just makes the whole outfit more neutral looking. Of course, in order to match my top, i chose a shiny blue leather high heels.
Another way to wear this black blazer is to wear a floral dress inside, it’s very simple and sweet. And i was wearing a transparent sandal with a bow on the middle to give this outfit a clean and pure feel.”
“To me your style should always reflect your personality and it should show who you are as an individual. I would say that my personal style is classic with a funky twist! I rarely buy trendy pieces because almost all the time they can’t be repeated.
I choose this outfit because I wanted to show that you can be comfortable and playful in a blazer at the same time. The accessories are brown because I was working off the belt and basing the shoes and accessories from that.”

“I would describe my style as mixed, i love boho chic, rocker chic, feminine, classic, vintage etc. but one of my favorite styles would definitely have to be the feminine style with and edge. like florals, lace, leather, and studs. iv’e always had a love for fashion ever since i was a little girl and even used to play dress up all the time!. This specific outfit is more of a nautical theme since the blazer has stripes, i purchased this blazer from Marshall’s and i am completely in love with it! it’s very trendy 🙂 i paired it with a button down shirt, a gold belt underneath to cinch my waist, light jeans and nude pumps! plus some sunglasses to tie it all together 🙂 it’s one of my favorite spring outfits!”
