Painting the Sky Gold

Dress: Silence + Noise
Hope everyone had a wonderful Independence Day. I didn’t really plan out my 4th of July weekend since every year I prefer staying away from traffic jam and crowded areas. This year I toughen up and headed to bean town without a solid plan. I went to Boston for the day to have lunch with the family. After lunch we stop by the museum of History in Harvard Square since my sister offered us free tickets. After learning about some forgotten history we opted for some shopping. Through all the traffic, we somehow managed to find the perfect parking on Newbury Street! The walk around Boston wasn’t exhausting as I thought. The streets were nicely shaded by trees so the sun didn’t suck the juice out of me. To my surprised, I accidently walked by Zara and notice they were having their end of summer sale ^o^ (I will post my experience there soon). After spending an arm and a leg, we walked to the Charles River and found a nice area near some nice folks by the river. The sun was setting right on time during our little dinner/picnic. The fireworks started around 10:30 and ended at 11pm. The walk out was jam with people and kind of scary knowing there aren’t any security around. After getting out we walk to our car in the crowded streets and headed home safely by 12am.
