Recovering to the Lighter Side

04.20.10
Thank you to those who reached out and wish me well. That really meant a lot to me. It was really tough feeling ill for a whole week. I don’t recall ever suffering that much from strep throat. Maybe I did not take good care of myself. I’m so glad life is back to normal now =)
I did some retail therapy over the week. Some new items are in these photos. The chunky sweater was purchased from F21 and the shoes were from Aldo. I wanted to wear light and neutral colors since last week I was pretty much living in the dark.
While I was taking these photos a few construction guys were around starring at my hubby and me. They would not stop! I did the “stare back at you thing” and Eric even said “hi” but it didn’t work. They were pretty annoying and yet funny. We just kept doing our thing.

  1. Aww glad you are feeling better!!

You look great and those wedges remind me of my favourite wedges, from where else, Aldo!

Haha, I know that feeling – it’s so awkward when people that you don’t want watching you, are watching you!

  2. I’m glad you’re feeling a lot better.

Wearing neutrals to cheer yourself up and promote positivity is a great idea, and I am loving those shoes. Aldo shoes are such good quality.

I hate it when people stare like that! That happens to me too, and it’s incredibly rude. I can’t believe people think staring and not even saying hi or being friendly is okay.
